Nestled in the rolling hills of Fauquier County, Virginia, Mediterranean Cellars Winery is minutes away from I-66, just north of Warrenton, Virginia. We are family-owned and operated farm winery with over fifty years of winemaking experience and tradition. A small vineyard was in existence when the farm was acquired for the winery, and it was expanded, starting in the late 1980s. The winery first opened its doors to the public in 2003 and has been operating non-stop since then, crafting hand-made classic and regional varietals. Come and enjoy our fine quality new-world wine varieties while experiencing the old-world atmosphere and breathtaking views from our comfortable patio and inviting tasting room.

January 2012 marks the release of a new red wine, expanding our lineup of superior red wine offerings. La Fos (The Light) is our new wine, a full-bodied, dry, varietal blend, made with grapes from our 2007 harvest. The wine has been aged for years in French oak giving it a deep red color, an intense fruit bouquet, hints of berries and a subtle spicy finish. This complex wine is easy-drinking, by itself, or a great accompaniment to a variety of cuisines.

La Fos was officially released on 7 January 2012. It is available for tasting and purchase.
